New Zealand had an easy win of five wickets and 135 balls to spare in the second ODI at Dunedin against Bangladesh. Requiring to chase a target of 184, the Kiwis raced away to that in just 27.3 overs with Ross Taylor smacking 78 from 52 balls (with 6 fours and 5 sixes). Shafiul Islam checked the Kiwis progress by taking three wickets.
Earlier in the day, little Mushfiqur Rahim played a gritty knock of 86 from 107 balls (with 8 fours and 3 sixes) to take Bangladesh from a horrible 46 for 6 to a respectable 183 for 8. Naeem Islam gave him good company with his 43 and Bangladesh could last all the 50 overs. Ian Butler was the chief wicket taker with 3 for 43. Newcomer Andy McKay impressed with 2 for 17 in his 10 overs. Ross Taylor got the Man of the Match.
