New Zealand eased to a 10-wicket win over Kenya after they had bundled them out for a paltry 69 in the second match of the ongoing ICC World Cup 2011. At the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, New Zealand needed only 8 overs to wrap up the negligible target with Martin Guptill making 39 not out from 32 balls and Brendon McCullum scoring 26 not out from 17 balls with 4 fours.

Kenya who had won the toss and deciding to bat first lasted only 23.5 overs! Their main batsmen were done in by the pace of the Shane Bond style bowling of Hamish Bennett who took 4 for 16 in 5 overs. Tim Southee and Jacob Oram joined the party taking three wickets each.

Only three of the Kenyan batsmen got into double digit scores while they were also three ducks in the innings. Fast bowler Hamish Bennett who ripped the Kenyans apart got the Man of the Match in this one-sided contest at Chennai.
