New Zealand find themselves in trouble at 108 for 4 after an early declaration from Australia at 459 for 5. Overnight batsman Marcus North remained unbeaten on 112 while Michael Clarke stretched his century to 168. The Kiwis at one point of time were reduced to 43 for 4 and could get to three figures because of Skipper Vettori’s unbeaten 42. Doug Bollinger did the damage for the Aussies taking two wickets including that of Ross Taylor.
