Pakistan picks squads for UAE and New Zealand Tours

Pakistan has picked three squads for the upcoming tours of UAE and New Zealand. To begin with, Pakistan clashes against New Zealand in 3 ODIs at Abu Dhabi followed up by 2 T20Is in Dubai. After the limited over games are done, Pakistan tours New Zealand for a 3-Test Series. They also have a tour of Australia after this assignment.

The prominent feature of the squads are the absence of middle order batsman Misbah-ul-Haq. Meanwhile former ICL player Imran Farhat returns back into the Test and ODI Squads. Mohammad Asif will not be touring UAE as he has been prohibited from entering the country following last year’s drug offence. The fast bowler though has been selected for the 3 Tests to be played in New Zealand. The 1st ODI between Pakistan and New Zealand is on the 3rd of next month in Abu Dhabi.
