Pakistan held on to a 7-run win against New Zealand in the second and final T20I at the Dubai Sports City Stadium yesterday. Batting first, Pakistan put on 153 for 5 courtesy of Umar Akmal’s 56 from 49 balls. New Zealand in reply failed to keep up the momentum and ended up at 146 in the allotted 20 overs despite having sufficient wickets in hand. Brendon McCullum with 47 from 41 balls and Scott Styris with 43 from 33 balls put on some sort of a fight to the Pakistani bowlers.
