New Zealand won the Only Test at Hamilton by 121 runs. It was a stiff fight offered by Bangladesh on the final day having resumed at 88 for 5. Skipper Shakib Al Hasan followed his first innings 87 with 100 in the second essay. First innings centurion Mahmudullah scored 42 and Bangladesh folded to 282. Tim Soutee took three wickets for the Kiwis. The Man of the Match award went to Martin Guptill who scored 189 and 56.
