England in Pakistan 2005/06 – 3 Tests and 5 ODIS

The Michael Vaughan led England team which is fresh from its Ashes exploits arrived in Islamabad yesterday. England have come up with 16 players for the 3 Tests, the first of which begins on the 12th of November at Multan, the Pakistan skipper Inzamam’s hometown. Before playing the 1st Test, the English team is going to warm up against a Patron’s XI side in a 3-day match at Rawalpindi. England also play 5 One Day Internationals on this tour lasting 58 days.

 

England Test Squad: Michael Vaughan (Captain), Marcus Trescothick, Andrew Strauss, Kevin Pietersen, Ian Bell, Andrew Flintoff, Paul Collingwood, Geraint Jones (Wicket Keeper), Matthew Prior (Wicket Keeper), Steve Harmison, James Anderson, Matthew Hoggard, Ashley Giles, Shaun Udal, Liam Plunkett, Alex Loudon

  • Chris Tremlett and Simon Jones were initially picked in the squad but their names have been withdrawn as they are suffering from injuries.
