Pakistan were bundled out for a paltry 72 after winning the toss and electing to bat first in the Second Test at Edgbaston. James Anderson and Stuart Broad picked up four wickets each as Pakistan collapsed in 39.3 overs on the first day’s play. England finished the day at 112 for 2 in 34.2 overs before bad light prevented any further action.
