Pak dramatic batting collapse paves way for SA’s easy win

Jacques Kallis Abu DhabiPakistan had a dramatic batting collapse of losing nine wickets for just 63 runs to pave way for an easy South African win in the 1st ODI at Abu Dhabi. Batting first after winning the toss, Pakistan got to a solid 140 for 1 before the collapse began and eventually the team was bowled out for 203. Barring half centuries from opener Mohammad Hafeez (68 from 84 balls with 7 fours) and Younis Khan (54 from 75 balls with 2 fours), none of the batsmen hung in there in the middle.

Lonwabo Tsotsobe, the left arm pacer did the damage once again taking four wickets besides bowling three maidens and conceding only 27 runs in 10 overs. Tsotsobe was the Man of the Match for this efforts which helped SA win the match comfortably by 8 wickets with as many as 63 balls to spare. The South African chase was all over in 39.3 overs thanks to half centuries from Jacques Kalls (66 retired hurt from 88 balls with 5 fours and a six) and AB de Villiers (51 from 53 balls with 6 fours).
