Shaun Tait MCGPakistan’s tour of Australia ended with yet another defeat. The visitors failed to chase a moderate Twenty20 target of 127 and fell short by just the two runs. Australia themselves had a terrible outing with the bat collapsing from 54 for 2 in the 7th over to 127 all out well inside the allotted 20 overs. Umar Gul took three wickets. David Hussey top scored for the hosts with an unbeaten 40 from 31 balls.

The Pakistanis in their chase lost wickets at regular intervals but were kept in the game through Kamran Akmal who smacked 64 from 33 balls with 7 fours and 2 sixes. But it was the wild pace from Shaun Tait that won the match for the Aussies.
