Pakistan defeated Bangladesh with just the two balls to spare chasing a competitive target of 251. Bangladesh put up an impressive 250 for 5 thanks to fifties from Anamul Haque (55) and Mahmudul Hasan (63). For Pakistan, Babar Azam sparkled again top scoring with 91. His opening partner Ahmed Shehzad scored a patient 52. There was a middle order collapse for the Pakistanis but through a lovely cameo of 34* from Mohammad Waqas managed to get home.
