Matt Prior The OvalPakistan have bounced back in the 4-Test Series by bowling out England for just 233 on the first day of the 3rd Test at The Oval. The visitors have also done well with the bat so far at 48 for 1 losing Imran Farhat only in the last over of play.

It was a dream day for debutant left arm quick Wahab Riaz as he finished with a rich haul of 18-6-63-5! Mohammad Asif played his part taking three wickets as well. England’s position would have been really hopeless but for an outstanding 119-run stand for the 8th wicket between Matt Prior and Stuart Broad. Prior remained undefeated on 84 (from 127 balls with 14 fours) while Broad was lbw for 48 (from 77 balls with 7 fours).

At Stumps on Day 1, Pakistan are trailing behind by 185 runs with 9 first innings wickets in hand. Opener Yasir Hameed is batting nicely on 36 from 51 balls which includes 6 fours and a six.
