Tillakaratne DilshanHosts Sri Lanka recorded a huge 156-run win in their warm-up match against minnows Netherlands on Saturday at the Sinhalese Sports Club Ground in Colombo. Batting first after winning the toss, Sri Lanka piled up 351 for 5 in 50 overs with runs coming in from Tillakaratne Dilshan (78 from 78 balls with 12 fours), Thilan Samaraweera (60 from 59 balls with 5 fours and a six), Chamara Silva (54 from 33 balls with 7 fours) and Chamara Kapugedera (50* from 41 balls with 4 fours).

Chasing 352 for a virtually impossible victory, the Dutch were bowled out for a respectable 195 in 47.3 overs. No.6 batsman Tom de Grooth top scored in the innings with 76 from 96 balls with 10 fours and a six. For the Lankans, fast bowler Dilhara Fernando did the most damage with 4 for 43 in 9 overs.
