In a curtailed contest of 34 overs per side at Lincoln, Sri Lanka posted an easy 8-wicket win over Zimbabwe. Opening bowler Chathura Peris took three wickets and Charith Jayampathi took four wickets as Zimbabwe got bowled out for 121. Charith Jayampathi then steered Sri Lanka to victory in the 25th over with his unbeaten 49.
