Opener Brendan Taylor scored a fluent century to see Zimbabwe through in a chase of 240 against Sri Lanka in the sixth match at Harare. In what was a dress rehearsal before the Final, Sri Lanka put to bat first could only post 236. This was despite an opening stand of 122 between Upul Tharanga (69) and Skipper Tillakaratne Dilshan (78).

Zimbabwe chased down the target losing only 2 wickets thanks to a 134-run stand between Brendan Taylor (119* from 137 balls) and Justice Chibhabha (58).
