Martin Bauer acquisition of BI Nutraceuticals : Global botanical expert Martin Bauer Group has acquired BI Nutraceuticals, a US-based plant-based ingredients manufacturer and supplier for an undisclosed price, as per the latest food acquisition news.
Headquartered in California, BI Nutraceuticals supplies dietary supplement and functional food ingredients such as plant-based powders and teas, standardized and ratio extracts, vitamin mineral premixes, proteins, fibers, custom blends, granular ingredients and other specialty processes.
BI Nutraceuticals’ portfolio comprises more than 200 ingredients.
Martin Bauer acquisition of BI Nutraceuticals paves way for an expanded portfolio of botanical ingredients and a resourceful manufacturing hub that will manufacture products for the US tea, beverage, food and dietary supplements sectors.

The investment in BI Nutraceuticals is expected to consolidate on Martin Bauer Group’s local capabilities including R&D, formulations and manufacturing, which in turn support the company’s plan to promote accelerated growth in North America.
