Kieron Pollard ruled out of ODI Series in India

The bad news for the upcoming ODI Series between India and West Indies is that match-winning all-rounder Kieron Pollard will miss it because of an injury. Interestingly there is no news about the kind of injury that Kieron Pollard has. The WICB has just stated that the big man wasn’t considered for selection because of an injury. As we know, Kemar Roach is also out of the Series following a shoulder strain.

The West Indian Selectors have included the trio of Kieran Powell, Narsingh Deonarine and Veerasammy Permaul in the 15-man ODI Squad which will be led by all-rounder Dwayne Bravo. The ODI team though looks quite strong compared to the Test team with the inclusion of Dwayne Bravo, Sunil Narine and Ravi Rampaul.

It will be a very short ODI series comprising of just the three matches to be played from the 21st of this month. The three ODIs will be played at Kochi (Nov 21), Vizag (Nov 24) and Kanpur (Nov 27).
