Australia took just under 4 overs today to complete a 35-run win in the third and final Test at Perth. West Indies resuming the fifth day’s play at 308 for 9 chasing a target of 359 could add 15 runs only. It was a spirited last wicket partnership though between the inexperienced Kemar Roach (17) and Gavin Tonger which was worth 44 runs. Bollinger finished the match taking the wicket of Roach. Chris Gayle got both the Man of the Match and the Player of the Series awards.
