Doug Bollinger AdelaideWest Indies lost another one-sided contest to Australia, this time by a margin of 8 wickets with the hosts chasing a moderate target of 171 in just 26.3 overs. Man of the Match Doug Bollinger set up the easy victory by claiming 4 for 28 as the tourists got bowled out in 39.4 overs itself. Dwayne Smith was the top scorer with 43 and West Indies after slipping to 16 for 4 never really got going.

Shane Watson struck another half century to ease the Aussies through. He scored 53 from 50 balls with 7 fours and 2 sixes. Skipper Ricky Ponting remained unbeaten on 57 from 55 with 8 fours and 2 sixes. Despite the one-sided contest, it was more than exciting to watch young Kemar Roach hurl the ball at around 150 kmph and have Ricky Ponting, the best batsman in the world hop up to his pace!
