Middle order batsman Michael Clarke has been dropped from the Australian Test Squad for the third Test against West Indies which begins on the 25th of this month at Adelaide. Runs have dried up for Michael Clarke and Simon Katich of late and Katich was dropped from the squad for the 2nd Test and its now Clarke’s turn. Justin Langer is back to his full fitness after missing out the first two Tests due to a rib injury and he forces his way back into the side. Michael Hussey who was expected to give way to Langer once the latter is fit has retained his spot after scoring his maiden hundred in the first innings of the 2nd Test which ended today at the Bellerive Oval, Hobart. Hussey remained unbeaten on 31 in the 2nd innings to guide Aussies to an eight wicket win. Brad Hodge who made his debut in this Test impressed the Selectors with a neat 60 and he too has kept his place in the Australian Test Squad.
