Chris Gayle and all the other heavy weights who had rebelled against the West Indies Board in the recent times have been named in the Test Squad for Australia Tour. The top West Indian players missed the Bangladesh Series followed up by the Champions Trophy due to dispute over their Contracts with the WICB. Gayle returns back as the West Indies Captain and has a strong team that could fancy its chances of beating Australia in the 3-Test Series which starts this month end. Along with Gayle, the other big players like Ramnaresh Sarwan, Shivnarine Chanderpaul, Dwayne Bravo and Denesh Ramdin are back as well.

The fast bowling pair of Kemar Roach and Gavin Tonge have grabbed their spots in the team after impressing one and all in a weakened West Indies team. Roach in particular has it in him to become a highly succesful bowler at the international level because of his red hot pace at around 150 kmph. Trinidadian Ravi Rampaul too finds a place in the Test Squad following his good performances in the limited overs version. Missing out on the tour is fast bowler Fidel Edwards because of a knee injury.

Another exciting name in the West Indian squad is the 19-year-old Adrian Barath from Trinidad and Tobago. The diminutive right handed opener showed the world his mettle with a couple of exciting innings in the Champions League T20 in India recently.
