Australia have sealed their 5-ODI Series against West Indies 3-0 after winning the fourth ODI at Brisbane by 50 runs. Skipper Ricky Ponting led the way with his 29th ODI hundred, scoring 106 from 112 balls with 6 fours and 2 sixes. Cameron White chipped in with a 78-ball 63 and James Hopes with a cameo of 42 from 21 balls as the hosts put up 324 for 7.
West Indies despite slipping to a miserable 127 for 5 managed to put up 274 for 8 in reply. Narsingh Deonarine scored 53 from 69 balls while Kieron Pollard with 62 (from 55 balls with 4 fours and 2 sixes) and Dwayne Smith with 59 (from 63 balls with 3 fours and 3 sixes) were instrumental in reducing the margin of defeat,
