West Indies finish Zimbabwe Series 4-1

Chris Gayle KingstownWest Indies finished the 5-ODI Series against the visiting Zimbabwe 4-1. There was yet another batting failure from the minnows at the Arnos Vale Ground resulting in a paltry target of 162 to chase for Windies. Man of the Match and also Player of the Series – Chris Gayle made shortwork of the target by smacking 63 from 41 balls as West Indies chased the runs in 27.4 overs losing six wickets.

Earlier in the day, Darren Sammy (3 wickets) and Ravi Rampaul (2 wickets) were instrumental in Zimbabwe getting bowled out for the low total. Charles Coventry with 56 was the only batsman to make a decent score in the Zimbabwean team.
