In a 27-over contest at Napier, Ireland comfortably defeated Zimbabwe to enter into the Plate Championship Semi Finals. The easy victory was set up by Craig Young who took four wickets to bowl out Zimbabwe for 102. Ireland got the runs in 20.2 overs losing three wickets with Paul Stirling scoring an unbeaten 65 from 50 balls.
