Zimbabwe humiliated with 44 all out in 4th ODI

Zimbabwe put on a terrible performance in the 4th ODI at Chittagong by collapsing to 45 all out, the 5th lowest total in the history of One Day Internationals. They did slightly better though than the 35 all out against Sri Lanka in 2004 and the 38 all out against the same team in 2001.

The fourth ODI at the Zohur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium finished quicker than a Twenty20 game with just 36.4 overs of action and just 93 runs scored in the fully completed One Dayer! Bangladesh did not better themselves as they lost as many as four wickets to overcome the total which they did in 11.5 overs. It’s an irony that it was Zimbabwe who won the toss and opted to bat first, from next time onwards they could probably forget about batting first if at all they win the toss.

For the record with this win, Bangladesh have wrapped up the 5-ODI Series 2-1 with one more game to be played at this same venue.
