R Ashwin: Winning T20 WC’12 ‘critical’ for Team India

Colombo, Sep 14 (ANI): Ahead of the ICC World Twenty20 2012, in Sri Lanka, off spinner Ravichandran Ashwin has said that winning the cup was critical for the team, since the team had done well, but over the last year suffered serious setbacks in Australia and England. Medium pacer, Irfan Pathan said that the mood in the dressing room was encouraging, courtesy, Yuvraj Singh’s return. Meanwhile, swashbuckling middle order batsman, Suresh Raina said that he would try to be useful for the team in the crucial first six overs. Members of the Indian cricket team arrived in Colombo on September 12 for the ICC World Twenty20, which kicks off on September 18.
