Australia go into the Second ODI at Nagpur with atleast three injury scares in their 16-man squad. James Hopes has already been ruled out after suffering a hamstring injury after his 2-over spell in the 1st ODI.

Mitchell Johnson had given a major scare during the 1st ODI at Vadodara when he had twisted his left ankle while fielding although the left armer did manage to subside that and bowl 9 overs. He is doubtful though for tomorrow’s match and so is the case with Brett Lee who it seems had trouble with his elbow which was perhaps the reason why he bowled just the 6 overs in the first ODI. Australia almost lost the match because of Ponting giving the ball to Watson instead of Lee.

The players on the bench during the 1st ODI were left arm pacer Doug Bollinger, left arm spinner John Holland, opener Shaun Marsh, all-rounder Moises Henriques and fast bowler Ben Hilfenhaus.
