New Delhi, September 02 (ANI): India’s renowned sportspersons submitted on Thursday a memorandum to Sports Minister Ajay Maken, backing his proposed National Sports Development Bill under which governing sports bodies would be under the ambit of Right to Information Act. The players met Maken in New Delhi and reiterated their support for the legislation, which sought transparency and accountability of management of sports in the country. On his part, Maken thanked the players for their support to the Bill.
