While the prospect of Tendulkar scoring his 100th international hundred at Lord’s had dominated attention, Dravid slipped out of the shadows and quietly reminded the world of his understated talent. Chasing England’s first innings total of 474-8 declared, Dravid came into the middle after the fall of Gautam Gambhir’s wicket in the morning session with the score reading 63-1.
