New South Wales had a cakewalk victory against Sussex at Delhi to move into the League Round. The Australian side beat the English county side by 35 runs at the Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium in Delhi.

NSW won the toss and batted first and they came up with a solid total of 130/2 in the 20 overs which was a good score on a low and slow wicket. Opener Phillip Hughes played the sheet anchor’s role with an unbeaten 62 from 64 balls. Moises Henriques took care of the acceleration with his unbeaten 51 from 33 balls which included 2 sixes.

Sussex in reply could come up with a weak 95 for 8. Henriques had an all-round finish to the match taking three wickets with the ball. There was just no fight coming from the Sussex batsmen who couldn’t handle the pace and spin from the New South Wales’ boys.
