The trio of Sachin Tendulkar, Yuvraj Singh and Irfan Pathan will be missing the upcoming NKP Salve Challenger Series. Tendulkar has been rested for the tournament while Yuvraj is recovering from a finger injury and Irfan Pathan is carrying a knee injury.
This season’s Challenger Trophy will be held at Nagpur from 8th to 11th. The tournament serves the Selectors to come up with some fresh options prior to the 7-ODI Series against Australia. The three teams of the Challenger Series will be led by MS Dhoni, S Badrinath and Suresh Raina.
