Swing bowler Praveen Kumar has been ruled out of the 2011 World Cup as he has not recovered yet from his elbow injury. The 24-year-old Praveen Kumar was to play his first ever World Cup but unfortunately misses out in that opportunity.
Sreesanth has been named as his replacement and he could well be a better pick than Praveen Kumar as he bowls a lot quicker in the air and also swings and seams the new ball efficiently. The only problem with Sreesanth is that he could be erratic and unpredictable at times.
