The third and final Test at the McLean Park in Napier has been hit by rain and draw seems to be the favourite result on the final day tomorrow. Pakistan are at 347 for 4 which has taken their overall lead to 99.

The visitors would need to bat for a little more than a session tomorrow to feel comfortable in this match. New Zealand on the other hand need to take the remaining six wickets in a hurry to give themselves an opportunity of chasing something less than 150.

Pakistan resumed the fourth day at 128 for no loss lost its two openers early in the day. That left Faisal Iqbal (67 from 170 balls) and Yousuf (89 from 212 balls) to repair the innings again.

At Stumps, Pakistan got to 347 for 4 in 141 overs with Umar Akmal on 48 along with Misbah-ul-Haq who is new at the crease. Rain hit the ground twice but only five overs were lost in the day’s play.
