AB de Villiers is new SA Captain for Limited Overs

AB de VilliersExciting batsman AB de Villiers has been named as the new South African Captain in both ODIs and T20Is. The 27-year-old who has played over a hundred ODIs replaces Graeme Smith who had stepped down after the World Cup 2011. Graeme Smith will however continue to remain as the Skipper of South Africa in Test Cricket. AB de Villiers replaced Johan Botha as the Twenty20 Captain of the South African team. Hashim Amla, the latest run machine for SA has been named as AB de Villiers’ deputy.

South Africa’s nest assignment is from October when they clash with Australia at home followed up against the visiting Sri Lankans in December.
