Welcome folks to Day 4 of the Champions Trophy, today we have England taking on Sri Lanka at Jo’burg. England have won the toss and have put SL to bat first.

Over 1.4: Five Wides! Graham Onions to S Jayasuriya, good length delivery, slips his inswinger down the legside and Prior struggles to stop that.
Over 1.5: He is Caught! Graham Onions to S Jayasuriya, good length delivery, draws him forward and gets a lot of bounce and pace in this to take an edge to the keeper, Sanath looked like playing across the line to the onside!
Over 2.3: He is Caught! J Anderson to T Dilshan, pitched up delivery, drives it carelessly on the up with an open face and fails to keep it down and is caught by backward point.
Over 3.4: Boundary! Graham Onions to M Jayawardene, pitched up delivery, shuffles across and flicks it away to the fine leg boundary.
Over 4.6: Out LBW! J Anderson to M Jayawardene, pitched up delivery, plays across the line to a full ball around off and middle and gets hit on the pad, only an inside edge could have saved Mahela which wasn’t the case.
Over 5.2: He is Caught! Graham Onions to K Sangakkara, pitched up delivery, plays a loose drive away from his body and can only edge it straight to Strauss at first slip who shows good soft hands to take that.
Over 5.5: Boundary! Graham Onions to Thilina Kandamby, short of length delivery, glances that uppishly down the legside to the fine leg boundary.
Over 9.2: Boundary! S Broad to T Samaraweera, pitched up delivery, drives it fluently past mid off for a boundary, good footwork indeed.
Over 9.3: Boundary! S Broad to T Samaraweera, short and wide, plays a wristy drive through point for a boundary.
Over 13.3: Single. S Broad to T Samaraweera, pitched up delivery, drives it wide of mid off for a single that takes SL to 50.
Over 14.3: Boundary! Graham Onions to Thilina Kandamby, short and wide, moves his feet well and cuts it nicely in the gap through square covers for a boundary.

Over 26.2: Boundary! G Swann to Thilina Kandamby, flatter trajectory delivery, stays back and plays a superb delicate late cut which beats short thirdman for a boundary.
Over 30.4: Boundary! G Swann to Angelo Mathews, flighted delivery, plants his frontfoot across and plays a powerful sweep flat behind squareleg for a boundary.
Over 32.2: Boundary! G Swann to Angelo Mathews, quicker and flatter in the air, gets forward and dabs it using the bowler’s pace to glide it past Wright at short thirdman for a boundary.
Over 34.3: Boundary! Graham Onions to Angelo Mathews, good length delivery, chips it nicely over the top of mid on for a boundary.
Over 34.5: Boundary! Graham Onions to Angelo Mathews, bangs it short, hooks it away neatly over fine leg for a boundary.
Over 37.4: Run Out at the Striker’s end! P Collingwood to Thilina Kandamby, short and rising delivery, dabs it towards covers and takes off for a single but Angelo isn’t interested as it was not on, and Kandamby is stranded and has no chance to return back!
Over 39.1: Single. Graham Onions to Angelo Mathews, short and rising delivery, gets a leading edge that flies flat over backward point and that brings up Angelo’s third ODI fifty!
Over 39.6: Single. Graham Onions to Angelo Mathews, short of length delivery, tucks it towards deep mid wicket and they try a second run, unfortunately Angelo has a collision with the bowler who was trying to get to the stumps and he has no chance to return for the second run. But the two Umpires have decided to call back Angelo, could have come from Strauss!
Over 40.3: Boundary! L Wright to N Kulasekara, short and rising delivery, gets up on his toes and cuts it away behind point for a boundary.
Over 40.5: He is Caught! L Wright to Angelo Mathews, good length delivery, gets squared up on the backfoot and its a thin edge that dies down behind the stumps but Prior dives forward to grab it cleanly.
Over 41.3: Sixer! S Broad to M Muralitharan, short of length delivery, makes room and clobbers Broad over long on for a six, totally agricultural but that was a solid shot!
Over 41.6: Boundary! S Broad to M Muralitharan, full toss, heaves that bad one down the legside to fine leg for an easy boundary.
Over 43.2: Bowled him! S Broad to M Muralitharan, good length delivery, makes room for a wild slog but only to have his off stump get kicked off its base!
Over 43.3: Bowled him! S Broad to L Malinga, good length delivery, doesn’t even have time to cover the line and has his off stump knocked off like Murali!
Over 44.4: Single. J Anderson to N Kulasekara, pitched up delivery, flicks it away to deep squareleg to bring up the 200.
Over 45.1: Sixer! S Broad to N Kulasekara, short and rising delivery, makes room and plays a superb upper cut that sails all the way over point for a six.
Over 47.3: He is Caught! J Anderson to A Mendis, good length delivery, edges it on the frontfoot and Strauss is there at slip to take the catch. England need 213 to win from 50 Overs.

Over 1.5: Beaten! N Kulasekara to A Strauss, good length delivery, pitches that on middle and moves it away off the seam to beat the bat, the Lankans think they have got a thin nick but Bowden didn’t agree with that.
Over 3.3: Boundary! N Kulasekara to Joe Denly, good length delivery, goes back and inside edges it dangerously and is lucky that the ball just goes past the legstump for a boundary.
Over 3.5: Out LBW! N Kulasekara to Joe Denly, good length delivery, beats the bat with a lovely inswinger that strikes the pad, impact looks just infront of the off stump and that was just out lbw.
Over 4.6: Boundary! L Malinga to A Strauss, pitched up delivery, shuffles and flicks the yorker to fine leg for a boundary.
Over 7.3: He is Caught! N Kulasekara to A Strauss, short of length delivery, goes for a forceful pull shot but finds Kandamby in the way who flies up to pluck a superb catch at short mid wicket!
